This early morning fall session was the first milestone in the G family’s membership plan. While being in front of the camera isn’t Lauren’s favorite thing (so she thought!), she knows how important it is to regularly document her son’s life and to be in photographs together.
It was such a treat to see how much little Maggie has grown after I took her newborn portraits last winter. She’s such a calm, happy baby and was a joy to photograph as she soaked up all the love from her parents.
It’s so important to document life during your pregnancy just like you will when your baby arrives. Believe it or not, you might miss the bump once they’re here! So when is the best time to take maternity photos? Keep reading to find out!
Lily’s family has been coming to Ocean City for over 100 years. Justin had been on seven family vacations with her and proposed on Lily’s 25th birthday on the beach at sunrise. So it was only natural they take their engagement photos in OCNJ, exactly a year later at sunrise!
Whether your little one is already here or still on their way, congratulations! While this is certainly an exciting time, it’s easy to let the days or weeks go by without thinking about the best ways to document them.
When Jess and Dan showed up to take their maternity portraits, I screamed inside. Maybe out loud. Jess was quite literally glowing and I was so excited to capture these precious memories for them. Even though rain was in the forecast, I always tell my clients to wait until the day of before we make a weather call–because more often than not you end up with gorgeous evenings like this!
For their engagement session, Lorraine and Dillon wanted to choose a place that was meaningful to them as a couple–which I always recommend. They spend a lot of time on the Haverford campus, walking through the trails and watching the ducks in the pond.
From the moment I arrived, Lorraine and Dillon were so gracious. It was a treat to explore campus with them, traipsing through paths they walked regularly and posing in front of their favorite spots around Haverford. The campus reminded me a lot of where I went to school in Oregon–I have to admit I was a bit homesick while shooting this session!
Summer at the shore means long days on the beach, afternoon cookouts, and the chance for families to finally take some time off and gather together. Photo sessions on the beach are extremely popular during the summer months, especially for extended families who don’t often have everyone in the same place at the same time. If you’re planning on having professional family photos taken at the beach this summer, keep reading for 5 things you won’t want to forget!
Erika and Brandon met at a mutual friend’s wedding and went on their first official date the following night. How cute is that! For their engagement photos, Erika and Brandon wanted to remember the absolute joy they feel and to commemorate the journey they’ve traveled together as a couple. I can personally confirm, dating and getting engaged during a global pandemic is no easy task!
I’ve worked with the wonderful C family before during an extended family shoot and I was so excited to see them again on this gorgeous early spring day for another round of family photos. We met just in time to take pictures for little M’s second birthday. To celebrate, she wore a balloon dress with a pompom crown, carried a princess wand, and pushed around a vintage carriage that her older sister also had for her second birthday. It was the perfect princess shoot for this sweet birthday girl!
