Newborn sessions take place in your home, where everyone is most comfortable and everything you need is already within reach. There’s no packing the car, no rushing out the door, and no pressure to keep things moving. We move slowly, with plenty of time for feedings, diaper changes, and breaks whenever they’re needed.
We can play music. Siblings can wander in and out. You can settle into the couch and simply hold your baby. The session becomes less about “getting photos” and more about soaking in the joy of this moment—when your baby is the tiniest they’ll ever be, and your world feels very small and very full all at once.

When my daughter was born, everything suddenly felt very different. The days blurred together. There were sleepy feeds in the middle of the night, tiny stretches and yawns, and those moments where you just sat there staring at them, wondering how someone so small could change your whole world so quickly.
That’s why newborn photography means so much to me. Those early weeks pass in a haze of learning, adjusting, and falling more in love every day. Newborn sessions let you slow down and capture your baby just as they are—the little toes, soft skin, and how perfectly they fit into your life—so years from now you can remember what it felt like when everything was brand new.

Newborn sessions are unhurried and baby-led, with gentle guidance throughout so you never have to wonder what to do. Sessions typically last 1.5–2 hours. You don’t need a spotless or styled home, or a baby who sleeps on cue. We'll work with the light and spaces you already live in and the natural rhythm of your family.

FAQs
Because I take a limited number of newborn sessions per month, I recommend reaching out during your second trimester to book. I'll put your due date on my calendar at booking and you'll reach out after the baby is born to confirm your session date. I'll typically photograph your baby 2-3 weeks after he or she arrives, but if you need more time to get settled or recover, no problem!
At-home newborn sessions typically last between 90 minutes and 2 hours with plenty of time for any diaper changes and feedings that need to happen.
I totally get it, life happens! For unexpected events like sickness or family emergencies, I allow one reschedule.
Your gallery will be delivered via your email within 3 weeks of your session date. Need them sooner? Rush delivery services are available.
Yes! I travel to sessions throughout the South Jersey, Philadelphia, Main Line, Jersey shore, and northern Delaware areas. For destinations beyond these areas, please inquire for a custom quote.
