This early morning fall session was the first milestone in the G family’s membership plan. While being in front of the camera isn’t Lauren’s favorite thing (so she thought!), she knows how important it is to regularly document her son’s life and to be in photographs together. As a mom, it’s easy to take a million pictures on your phone, but harder to get the whole family organized in front of the camera. As a Cherry Hill family photographer, that’s where I come in!
I love working with families to beautifully capture moments in their lives they never want to forget. Or, in Elijah’s case, moments he won’t remember as a two-year-old, but are important memories to look back on with his parents as he grows older.

Barclay Farmstead is one of my favorite places to take family photos in Cherry Hill. There are portable bathrooms on site plus a playground for kids to play on after your session. The stone house makes a beautiful backdrop for portraits and there are several other structures onsite including an old wooden hut, a bridge through the trees, and a community garden.
Barclay is a great spot to incorporate fall foliage into your photographs. I love the warmth these fall colors and changing leaves add to the G family’s portraits. Autumn colors make a great neutral backdrop for family photographs, especially if you plan on displaying your images on the walls of your home. Earthy tones like these greens, browns, and soft yellows are easy to coordinate with a variety of other colors, no matter how bold your decor style is.

I love working with the G’s as a Cherry Hill family photographer. They are so easy-going and Elijah had the best time running through the park with his parents. Taking photos was a great excuse to carve out time together as a family and enjoy the fresh air of a gorgeous fall morning.
