It was so much fun to see how much little Maggie has grown a year after I took her newborn portraits last winter. She’s such a calm, happy baby and was a joy to photograph as she soaked up all the love from her parents. Sessions like this make me realize how truly blessed I am to be a Philadelphia baby photographer. What a treat to be able to preserve the love and connection a family shares while their little ones are still so tiny!
Looking for a Philadelphia family photographer?
This early November day was uncharacteristically warm and the changing leaves were at peak color. These family portraits were taken right before the P family flew to Europe and you’d never know I didn’t go with them! It felt like we were in the south of France as we stood against the old stone house with the flowers still in full bloom.
This botanical garden is one of my absolute favorite locations as a Philadelphia baby photographer – you feel as though you’ve been transported to another time and place with all of the lush greenery and quarried structures.
Just outside the garden, close to the river, is a sloping hill that was covered by fresh orange leaves. The late afternoon sun was perfectly streaming through the trees and I immediately knew it was going to be a magical spot. Maggie loved sorting through the fallen foliage and we got some beautiful family portraits.
