Capturing a child’s first birthday is a cherished moment for any parent, and this recent cake smash session perfectly encapsulated the magic of this milestone. As with any milestone session, I like to include a few portraits of the baby by themselves and/or with a parent before things start to get messy. Lennox’s cake smash took place in my natural light studio, with a fine art, hand-painted backdrop and a few pieces of vintage furniture.
