Fall in Philadelphia is exquisite. Growing up on the west coast, autumn was still filled with colors but was short-lived and accompanied by an almost-daily showering of rain. Autumn on the east coast is warmer, drier, and much sunnier.

I was so excited when Angela and Rangan suggested an early morning Old City Philadelphia-themed shoot for their engagement session! There’s something about the way the soft morning light hits the cobblestones and brick that makes me feel like I’m in another time and place.

This year’s fall mini sessions took place at the historic Barclay Farmstead, nestled off Route 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ. I didn’t know what to expect weather-wise, but we were blessed with beautiful dappled sunlight all day long!

I’m so glad I was able to squeeze this sweet family in for a last minute beach session in Ocean City when their original photographer unfortunately got sick!

The H family attended my first day of mini sessions at Knight Park in Collingswood, New Jersey! Even though their session was short, they got so many photos laughing and enjoying their time together as a family.

I’m so thankful I met Amanda and Eric, another COVID newlywed couple! The two of them, and their beautiful Newfoundland…

You’d never guess that this was a cold January day in this beautiful, golden new puppy session at the park!

I LOVE puppies on photoshoots! Molly and Danny had just gotten their sweet new Frankie girl, and were so excited to bring her to their couples shoot.

When Tessa and Eduardo asked if there would be a spot for their mini gold retriever at their session, I literally could not have gotten the word YES! out of my mouth quicker.

I’ve worked with Kevin doing brand photography for his business, and I was so excited when he asked me to take their first photos together as a family.
