Valley Forge Park is such a good location for family photos. Not only is it a massive national park full of Revolutionary War history, but there are sooo many unique photo backdrops to discover! It was the perfect location for this lovely family’s fall portrait session.
I met Jess this summer through a wedding photography group on Facebook. I was so excited when she asked me to take photos of her family a few months later! This beautiful golden light and rich fall colors make their photos feel a lot warmer than it really was that day. We had to push our shoot to mid-morning because sunrise in November was waaay too chilly.
Valley Forge is one of the most popular locations in PA for family photos. One of my favorite spots we shot at was this old, abandoned greenhouse tucked away near Philander Chase Knox Estate, a wedding venue at the south end of the park. Jess’ son was so interested in what was inside, I had so much fun chasing him around the old stone walls. Scroll towards the bottom of their gallery to see him in action!
