For Jenn and Brett’s rose garden maternity photos, we took advantage of this uncharacteristically beautiful June and head to what I’d seriously consider heaven on earth–a 4.5 acre garden filled to the brim with fragrant roses in bloom.
Photographs on the beach are always so dreamy. The way the light peeks over the grassy slopes and reflects off the water is hard to beat–there’s something so magical and carefree about running barefoot through the sand and splashing through the water!
Finding the perfect maternity photoshoot dress online isn’t easy, especially if your size has changed or if you aren’t sure what dress silhouettes will be flattering for your bump. The stores I chose to include in this guide have a wide range of styles and sizes, and most of them you can keep wearing postpartum.
This whimsical maternity photoshoot in Philadelphia was reminiscent of an English country garden in full bloom. There were several moments throughout their shoot which reminded me of my favorite impressionist paintings–of women becoming fully immersed in the luscious rejuvenation of spring. This cycle of birth and renewal was the perfect metaphor for Erin’s spring maternity photoshoot.
This was such a special session for so many reasons. It was my third time working with the C family, and the cherry blossoms hold great personal significance to them. Fairmount Park in Philadelphia during peak cherry blossom bloom was the perfect setting to photograph the beautiful bond Daitza has with her two girls.
If you’ve ever planned a photography session before, you know that deciding what to wear is easily the most difficult part of getting ready. With a client closet, you won’t have to go shopping last minute, second guess if what you selected will look good on camera, or have a bunch of dresses to return that you didn’t end up wearing. All you have to do is pick your favorites and I’ll take care of everything else!
Welcoming a new baby into your family is a joyous occasion, and many parents are eager to capture those first precious memories. Rather than packing everything up and driving to a studio after just giving birth, many families opt instead for the convenience of an at-home newborn session to document their baby’s entrance into the world. It’s much easier to show your family’s love and connection when you’re in a comfortable environment.
If you’re planning for outdoor winter maternity photography in Philadelphia, chances are it’s going to be cold. But that doesn’t mean your portraits have to be a miserable, frigid experience, or even show that it’s winter. You can still have gorgeous, light-filled photographs of this special time in your life, without needing to change your vision and flee inside.
In this digital age, it’s easier than ever to regularly document your children’s growth and development. If you want to visually tell the story of your growing baby and appreciate having someone hold your hand in doing so, a maternity and newborn photography plan might be the perfect fit for you.
In this digital age, it’s easier than ever to amass a substantial collection of photos of our children. In fact, I probably have more photos of my friend’s children than my own mother has of me at their age. Besides the fact that you should be in as many photos as possible with your children…
