When Jess and Dan showed up to take their summer maternity portraits, as a Moorestown maternity photographer, I screamed inside. Maybe out loud. Jess was quite literally glowing and I was so excited to capture these precious memories for them.
We had a few weather scares leading up to their shoot, but were blessed with creamy skies that blue into soft rays of light as we neared sunset. Even though rain was in the forecast, I always tell my clients to wait until the day of before we make a weather call–because more often than not you end up with gorgeous evenings like this!
I love how Jess’ sage dress perfectly compliments the natural environment around her. When I saw this open patch of tall grasses, I knew we had to venture in.
Long, flowy dresses like this one highlight the elegance and femininity of motherhood and are perfect for maternity sessions. Plus they are comfortable, allow you to move freely, and do an excellent job of showing off your growing bump!
I love a good black and white maternity portrait, don’t you? They look so classic and timeless hanging on the walls of your home.
